‘Not Others’ Episode 4: Choi Sooyoung Meets Ahn Jae Wook + Drama Reaches New All-Time High Rating
Choi Sooyoung and Jeon Hye Jin's drama is slowly getting the attention it deserves as it scores a new milestone. After "Not Others" episode 4 aired, the ENA series continues to receive positive responses from the public.
'Not Others' Episode 4 Viewership Rating
In a report by Nielsen Korea, the K-drama's July 25 broadcast garnered an average nationwide viewership rating of 2.7 percent. Although it was a slight increase from its previous rating of 2.5 percent, "Not Others" episode 4 marked a new personal best in viewership.
Airing every Monday and Tuesday, the rom-com K-drama depicts the story of a chaotic mother and daughter. Amid their cat-dog connection, they are set to meet their respective lovers.
"Not Others" episode 5 is scheduled to air on July 31 at 9:00 PM KST. Viewers could watch the latest episode via ENA, Hulu, and Viki.
'Not Others' Episode 4 Recap
"Not Others" episode 4 showcased a brief background between Kim Eun Mi and her longtime friendship with Mi Jung, who also acts as Kim Jin Hee's aunt. It turns out that Mi Jung saved then-pregnant Kim Eun Mi from her abusive father after he invited her to live with her.
Along with Mi Jung's mother, they raised Kim Jin Hee as if she were family.
Fast forward to the present time, and Jin Hee was glad to see her favorite aunt. However, she still had ill feelings toward Jin Hee's biological father, hoping that they wouldn't cross paths.
On the other hand, Kim Jin Hee had a drinking session with her colleagues. Seemingly, she was slowly gaining the trust of her coworkers.
Interestingly, because Chief Eun Jae Won got so drunk, it was Kim Jin Hee who brought him home. At this point, they had a heart-to-heart conversation, sparking a possible reconnection between the two.

One of the highlights in "Not Others" episode 4 was the mysterious man who Kim Jin Hee often saw outside their home.
During her mother and aunt's visit at the police station to bring some food, she saw how the man (Ahn Jae Wook) looked at her mother. As she stepped out of the police station, she saw him looking at one of the police mobiles as if he were searching for something.
The next day, as Kim Jin Hee was about to go home, she saw the man again staring at their home.
To recall, Jin Hee became paranoid after she learned that her mother was the one behind the video defending a woman from an assault.
At this point, she became suspicious and chased down the man.
