Byun Woo Seok Enjoys Skyrocketing Popularity
Byun Woo Seok made headlines as a rising actor in Hallyu after he appeared in the globally acclaimed film "20th Century Girl" in 2022.
With that, he returned to the silver screen with Kim Da Mi and Jeon So Nee in the melodrama film "Soulmate." He played the role of Hum Jin Woo, the love interest of the female leads.
This cemented his name in the walls of Hallyu much to his fans' delight. At the moment, he's among the most sought-after leading men alongside Im Siwan, Woo Do Hwan and more.
As he continues to snipe the hearts of the viewers, he's expected to become a bigger star than he is now.
Byun Woo Seok Returns With High Scale Works This 2023
In July, fans' excitement catapulted to the roof after Byun Woo Seok was cast in tvN's brand new drama with Kim Hye Yoon.
"Loverly Runner" is a time slip fantasy series that follows the journey of a fan who saves her favorite idol after witnessing his sudden demise six years from the present time.
Byun Woo Seok blows life into a top star who possesses good looks and enticing charms opposite Kim Hye Yoon, a woman with big dreams and a rather ordinary life.
It is based on the webtoon entitled "Tomorrow's Best," and it is scheduled for release in December 2023 on tvN.

Apart from that, Byun Woo Seok is also set to headline the "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" sequel with Ong Seong Wu and Lee Yoo Mi.
The series follows Gang Nam Soon, played by Lee Yoo Mi, a woman with superhuman strength that she inherited from her mother and grandmother.
"Strong Woman Gang Nam Soon" will focus on her life and struggles as she gets involved in a serial murder case in their neighborhood.
