During his recent public appearances, the top star's facial features have become rounder.

It seems that the actor has gained a bit of weight as he takes a short break from the small screen.

Netizens in online communities said that the actor's "swollen" face is notable and speculated that it might be because of his hiatus.

Nonetheless, fans pointed out how Lee Min Ho looked "fine" and has the visuals of a "prince charming" despite his weight gain.

On the other hand, other fans speculate that he might be preparing for a new project, hence his new look.

After his most talked-about return to the small screen through Disney+'s "Pachinko," Lee Min Ho is set to make a comeback. The South Korean star will work with the equally-talented and award-winning actress Gong Hyo Jin for the rom-com K-drama "When the Stars Gossip," also known as "Ask the Stars."

Taking on the role of an OB-GYN named Gong Ryong, he joins the space expedition as one of the tourists, where he meets a Korean-American astronaut named Eve Kim, played by Gong Hyo Jin.

The upcoming K-drama revolves around the budding romance between two people who meet at an unexpected place and time.

Joining the two top stars are Oh Jung Se, Lee El, Han Ji Eun, and Kim Joo Heon.

Interestingly, Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin's new drama is directed by Park Shin Woo, who is the genius behind "Lovestruck in the City," "It's Okay to Not Be Okay," and "Jealousy Incarnate," which was also headlined by Gong Hyo Jin.

On the other hand, Lee Min Ho will reprise his role in "Pachinko" season 2 as Ko Han Su, a Korean who now resides in Osaka, Japan.
