Kim Mo Mi Becomes Mask Girl
Kim Mo Mi (Lee Han Byul) dreams of becoming an entertainer her whole life. Despite being a great singer, she isn't blessed with drop dead gorgeous looks.
With this, she's left with a boring job at an insurance company. To spice up her life, she puts on a mask at the end of the day and offers adult entertainment as Mask Girl on the Internet.
Whenever she's in Mask Girl's world, she doesn't suffer from any prejudice and discrimination. She feels like she's a woman deserving of someone else's love.
Her seemingly picture-perfect life crumbles down when she receives a strange email, saying that they know who Mask Girl is in real life.
Mask Girl Gets Stuck In Sticky Situation
Mask Girl's online account gets suspended after showing off her naked body during a livestream.
Kim Mo Mi just wants to destress and when a fan asks her out on a date, she gives in not knowing that the man loathes her face and just wants to have sex with her.
At the motel, the man tries to touch her. Feeling uncomfortable, she pushes him away. He calls her names that enraged Kim Mo Mi.

The two get into a fight that leads to the man's sudden demise when he hits the marble sink. When Kim Mo Mi begins to panic, she receives a call from Joo Oh Nam (Ahn Jae Hong).
Kim Mo Mi Finds Her Hero
Like Kim Mo Mi, Joo Oh Nam has been bullied for her looks. As an adult, he only finds satisfaction from his collection of adult toys and provocative streamers.
He's also an avid fan of Mask Girl, making him obsessed with Kim Mo Mi. He rushes to her aid when Kim Mo Mi accidentally kills the man who assaulted her.
Just when Joo Oh Nam begins to dismember the man's body for easy disposal, the man wakes up in his slumber.
He then stabs him multiple times with a knife, killing him off completely. Meanwhile, Kim Mo Mi hands in her abrupt resignation.
Joo Oh Nam's Sudden Demise
Joo Oh Nam runs to Kim Mo Mi's apartment to persuade her about her decision but she refuses.
Kim Mo Mi plans to live a new life. She even changes her whole face with plastic surgery. She also plans to leave the livestream business.
Feeling dejected, he tries to get a taste of her for the last time. Kim Mo Mi flips him over and stabs him in the neck with an ice pick.

It is then revealed that the strange email about Kim Mo Mi and Mask Girl was sent by Joo Oh Nam in desperation.
Kim Kyung Ja Begins Her Hunt
Things take a darker turn when Joo Oh Nam disappears. When his mother Kim Kyung Ja (Yeom Hye Ran) and the police search his house, all of his secrets get revealed.
The dismembered man is also found inside his cabinet, making Joo Oh Nam a killer in the eyes of the public. They also learn that Kim Mo Mi disappeared at the same time.
Kim Kyung Ja finds out about Mask Girl's involvement in her son's disappearance. She then uses all of her savings to track down her prospect.
Days later, she kidnaps a woman whom she thinks is Kim Mo Mi due to the necklace she's wearing. Unfortunately, it's a completely different person.
