‘Mask Girl’ Episode 4-5: Nana Faces Her Greatest Downfall
In "Mask Girl" episodes 4 to 5, the viewers are able to see what goes on in Nana's life after fleeing the crime scene as a broadcast jockey.

Kim Chun Ae's Testimony
Out of desperation, Kim Kyung Ja (Yeom Hye Ran) takes matters into her own hands not knowing that the woman she kidnapped isn't Kim Mo Mi (Lee Han Byul).
The woman introduces herself as Kim Chun Ae (Han Jae Yi) who also wants to get revenge from her. In reality, she's actually Kim Mo Mi's friend.
She fabricates a sob story about how she met Kim Mo Mi. It turns out that she's also a once "ugly duckling" who yearns to be the center of attention.
Because of this, she vows to protect Kim Mo Mi as it's the same as protecting herself. To escape Kim Kyung Ja's chains, she pretends to be on her side and becomes her apprentice.
Little does she know, Kim Chun Ae runs away to tell their friends not to mention Kim Mo Mi's (Nana) whereabouts if someone goes looking for her.
Kim Mo Mi & Kim Chun Ae's Beautiful Friendship
The two met after Kim Mo Mi had her surgery and began working at a club. They became really close and started performing together as they both possess beauty and talents.
Kim Mo Mi has felt extremely ill for weeks now. One night, she heads out to get some medication until a school boy stops her, introducing himself as Mask Girl's number one fan.

She pretends not to know about what he just said and threatens to kill him if he doesn't stop. The boy, who's also been chatting with Kim Kyung Ja, reveals what he knows.
Meanwhile, Kim Chun Ae runs to Kim Mo Mi who's about to look for a new hiding spot. They head back to the former's home to get some stuff before they go to another place.
Unfortunately, Choi Bu Young (Lee Jun Young), Kim Chun Ae's good-for-nothing partner, wakes up and beats her up again.
Kim Mo Mi Finally Faces Kim Kyung Ja
Kim Mo Mi comes to the rescue. The two of them grab a rope and choke the man to death. They pack his body in a suitcase and drive off in his car to a faraway lake.
Kim Mo Mi then reveals that she's pregnant with Joo Oh Nam's (Ahn Jae Hong) baby. Just when they think everything is over, Kim Kyung Ja follows them to the secluded lake to end things once and for all.
The three women get into a death brawl as Kim Kyung Ja threatens them with a gun. Sadly, Kim Chun Ae gets shot in her stomach.
When Kim Mo Mi's at a disadvantage, Kim Chun Ae hits Kim Kyung Ja on the head with a rock, killing her off. Kim Chun Ae then dies in Kim Mo Mi's arms.
Mask Girl's Downfall
In 2011, Kim Mo Mi finally turned herself in to the police and was sentenced with life imprisonment for murder.
She also gave birth to Kim Mi Mo (Shin Ye Seo) who grew up just like her. Kim Mo Mi gave her estranged mother the full custody of her child.

Kim Mo Mi also loves to dance but her grandmother's indifference completely takes its toll on her. When her peers find out about her being Mask Girl's daughter, she becomes ostracized.
She then becomes violent just like her mother, making the public believe that she's a bad seed. In 2023, Kim Mi Mo turns 17 and plans to run away from home.
Meanwhile, a gray-haired Kim Kyung Ja walks away with a satisfied smile on her face, revealing that she's still alive.
