‘Not Others’ Episode 12: Choi Sooyoung, Jeon Hye Jin Embark on New Journey

After witnessing the ups and downs of the chaotic mother-daughter tandem, "Not Others," which stars Jeon Hye Jin and Choi Sooyoung, bids goodbye, leaving viewers with an interesting finale.

Besides a satisfying ending, the ENA series ends on an all-time high.

'Not Others' Viewership

In a report, the rom-com series continued to create new achievements for the show. It was after Nielsen Korea garnered an average nationwide viewership rating of 5.5 percent for "Not Others" episode 12.

With this, the finale episode marked its new personal best in terms of viewership. To recall, the weekday K-drama kicked off with only a 1.3 percent rating but managed to hit new personal bests in the succeeding episodes.

'Not Others' Episode 12 Recap

Kim Jin Hee was devastated after receiving sad news regarding her grandmother. In the previous episode, it showcased the background story of how she grew up with her mom, along with her mom's best friend, Kim Mi Jung, and her mother.

Both Mi Jung and her mom treated her as if she were their own family. She even called her "grandmother" because she was basically raised by her aunt, Mi Jung.

Unfortunately, she passed away due to old age. Along with Mi Jung, she and her mom were the chief mourners, which made some of Mi Jung's relatives disappointed.

What made them even more furious was that the grandmother left inheritance to Mi Jung, Eun Mi, and Jin Hee. However, Mi Jung defended them and told her relatives how Eun Mi helped her grandmother when she was sick.

On the other hand, the death of a loved one made Kim Jin Hee realize something.

After watching a travel vlog, it piqued her interest in traveling the world. Although she and her mother decided not to move out just yet, Jin Hee told her mom that she would go backpacking and would be gone for a year.

Of course, being a mother, Eun Mi didn't like the idea at first because of safety issues. However, what made her agree was seeing how determined Jin Hee is.

Lo and behold, it was the D-day for her travel date. At the airport, Kim Jin Hee was having mixed emotions because she would be leaving a lot of her loved ones.

However, she was surprised to see her mother and said that she would also go on a trip with Jin Hee.

At this point, she realized that she had been preparing for weeks; hence, her regular exercise.

On the other hand, the duo left Park Jin Hong and Eun Jae Won waiting for their return.
