"The Uncanny Counter 2" Episode 2 creates a happy memory for the Counters as they welcome Jo Byung Gyu. Unfortunately, the biggest battle between two evil spirits takes place.

'The Uncanny Counter 2' Episode 10: Hwang Pil Gwang's Greed Intensifies

In "The Uncanny Counter 2" episode 10, Hwang Pil Gwang (Kang Ki Young) grows more impatient as he wishes to claim So Mun's (Jo Byung Gyu) powers.

His greed already made him sever ties with Gelli Berherd (Kim Hieora). Now he even plans to absorb Ma Joo Seok's (Jin Seon Kyu) powers who's become more powerful than him.

Meanwhile, So Mun and Wi Gen (Moon Sook), who recently regained consciousness, reunite with the Counters.

Ma Joo Seok Becomes Unstoppable

As Lee Chung Jae (Kim Hyun Joon) gets transported to the penitentiary, Ma Joo Seok moves to take him to the memorial park where he plans to take him down completely.

Ma Joo Seok shows off his outstanding skills and unstoppable powers, causing the Counters to worry. Unfortunately, himother is in the park. She then stands in his way, persuading him to drop everything he plans to do.

He shocks everyone when he takes his mother by the neck. It is revealed that Ma Koo Seok's human side is not in control anymore as he's taken over completely by the powerful evil spirit.

Lee Chung Jae Pleads Guilty

The Spirits at the Office reveal that Ma Joo Seok has already absorbed territory power which is an inexplicable force that happens when a human is completely taken over by an evil force.

Every time So Mun summons the territory, Ma Joo Seok becomes even much stronger. The Counters become more determined to stop him while his human is still in limbo.

At the prison, Lee Chung Jae convinces Ga Mo Tak (Yoo Jun Sang) to save him from Ma Joo Seok's wrath as he denies to be the mastermind in his fraud scam case.

Lee Chung Jae confesses that he only took the fall for his boss who sadly dropped him like a hot potato when things went south. He wishes to be put in witness protection from Ma Joo Seok.

To their surprise, the prisoner is telling the truth and the one to be blamed is Hwang Pil Gwang. If the evidence is released, Ma Joo Seok will surely go after the other evil spirit.

Hwang Pil Gwang Succeeds

The Counters lure Ma Joo Seok through So Mun to persuade the former about Lee Chung Jae's situation.

Elsewhere, Lee Chung Jae gets attacked by Hwang Pil Gwang who kills him without hesitation, creating a massive uproar among the public.

Hwang Pil Gwang then confesses to his crime to the media, riling up Ma Joo Seok in order for him to steal his power and finally become the strongest evil spirit ever.

Ma Joo Seok then arrives in a flash, grabbing the other by the throat. He consumes his essence and brings the evil spirit back.

Hwang Pil Gwang successfully gets a rise out of Ma Joo Seok, which allows him to be a complete spirit that the Counters need to watch for.
