'A Good Day to Be a Dog' Script Reading: Cha Eun Woo, Park Gyu Young, More Showcase Chemistry

The stellar cast of the new drama "A Good Day to Be a Dog" gathered together for the first time and exhibited a fresh and friendly vibe during script reading.

The drama adaptation is based on the Naver webtoon of the same name, which was greatly loved by readers for its compelling narrative. Before its release, MBC introduced the cast members and their adorable synergy at their first meeting.

At the table reading, cast members Cha Eun Woo, Park Gyu Young, Lee Hyun Woo, Yoon Hyun Soo, Ryu Abel, Cho Jin Se, Yoo Sung Mok, and Song Young Ah, alongside Director Kim Dae Woong, Writer Baek In Ah, and other production staff members were present at the event.

According to the report, all the actors were constantly smiling and laughing at each other, creating a positive connection among the cast.

After introducing each other, the script reading began in earnest, and the three lead stars quickly immersed themselves in their characters.

Cha Eun Woo, Park Gyu Young, Lee Hyun Woo, More Give Glimpse of Their Characters

Cha Eun Woo is Jin Seo Won, a fellow teacher of Han Hae Na and a man who became afraid of dogs due to childhood trauma. He boasted a warm appearance and perfect synchronization in his role, as well as concealing a sad trauma, but he drew everyone's attention by making good use of the character's characteristics that change in the wake of an unexpected meeting.

Park Gyu Young plays the role of Han Hae Na, a woman who seems to walk along life's tough road with a beautiful, smart, and pleasant personality. However, she is boxed in a curse where she turns into a dog when she kisses a man.

The actress doubled her loveliness with her bouncy acting. Expectations soared for Park Gyu Young and her new character.

Returning to the K-drama scene is Lee Hyun Woo, he is Lee Bo Gyeom, a man who hides his chilling and sharp nature behind his warm and friendly smile. He quickly fell into the character and showed an attractive appearance. He exhibited solid acting skills by impressively showing the characteristics of his role which crosses between kindness and rudeness.

Attention was drawn to the special synergy of these three lead stars.

On the other hand, Ryu Abel and Jo Jin Se, who will be portrayed as close people to Jin Seo Won and Han Hae Na, made the people in the room laugh with their strong chemistry.

Yoo Seung Mok, Lee Seol Il, and Song Young Ah added dramatic abundance with their personality-filled performances.

'A Good Day to Be a Dog' To Premiere in October

The drama's script reading marked a pleasant start with the fantastic chemistry of the cast members who fell in love with the exciting narrative and characters of "A Good Day to Be a Dog."
