Lee Hyeri Expresses Frustrations Over ‘Absurd Experience’ on Foreign Airline
Lee Hyeri took to social media to express her extreme frustration to an airline. The Girl's Day member shared a post on her Instagram story narrating about her "absurd" flight experience.
Lee Hyeri Slams Airline For Unacceptable Response
The actress made headlines after updating her 7.9 million followers regarding her experience during her recent flight.
On Lee Hyeri's Instagram story, the "Reply 1988" star posted a black-and-white photo of her ticket along with a lengthy message expressing her disappointment.
In her SNS account, the actress mentioned that she had a reservation more than a month from her flight date. But instead of flying first class, the airline downgraded her to economy without prior notice.
"I made my reservation one and a half months ago and even selected a seat in advance, but they downgraded me to Economy Class, saying there were no First Class seats available," she wrote.
After raising her situation, she was given options but was disappointed because it seemed like she had no choice.
"The airline told me to take the next flight if I didn't like the seat and did not even give me a refund. Haha. I booked two seats; how could both be downgraded?" Lee Hyeri shared.

The South Korean actress said that she "wanted to say many things but couldn't express them properly" and even joked that she "should have studied English harder."
Wrapping up her post, Lee Hyeri called it "an absurd experience" and even advised her followers to be careful when flying.
Although the actress did not name the company, many think that it was a foreign airline because she mentioned having a hard time communicating in English.

Lee Hyeri is busy with her big-screen comeback.
Following her 2019 movie "My Punch-Drunk Boxer," the singer-actress is set to headline an upcoming film.
Along with Park Se Wan, Lee Hyeri stars in the youth sports movie "Victory."
The former Girl's Day member transforms into a high school student, Pil Sun. She and her friend, Mi Na (Park Se Wan), both love dancing and were convinced to join their school's cheerleading club, Millennium Girls.
"Victory" depicts the journey of a local cheerleading group as a new student from Seoul, named Se Hyun, played by Jo Aram, enters the team.
Scheduled to premiere in 2024, Lee Hyeri's movie "Victory" is directed by Park Bum Soo of "Red Carpet" and "Single in Seoul."
Meanwhile, Hyeri's last K-drama appearance was the 2022 romance K-drama "May I Help You" with U-Kiss' Lee Jun Young.
