Seo In Guk and Lee Sung Kyung's new drama will be a 16-episode mini-series that depicts the story of a man who lost his hearing and memory due to an accident. Just when he thought that he was living an unlucky life, he unexpectedly met a woman who was like his salvation.
The South Korean heartthrob takes on the role of Seon Woo Chan, an animator working for an American animation studio. The character is described as someone who has a bright and cheerful personality; however, behind this is a mysterious secret.
Meanwhile, Lee Sung Kyung plays the character of Song Ha Ran. She is the oldest of her three siblings and works as a chief designer.

Like Seon Woo Chan, Song Ha Ran loves art and has an innate artistic sense and creativity; hence, she is known in her industry.
She also has an interesting personality, which is why she seems to get along well with everyone; however, she doesn't want anyone to be special.
Seo In Guk and Lee Sung Kyung's new drama is helmed by Park Seon Ho of "My Strange Hero," "Birth of a Beauty," "Suspicious Partner," and the hit K-drama "A Business Proposal."
Working along with the director is screenwriter Jo Sung Hee of "Thirty But Seventeen" and "She Was Pretty."
Prior to Lee Sung Kyung's confirmation, the character of Song Ha Ran was initially offered to Han Hyo Joo, but the actress turned down the offer.
Meanwhile, following the confirmation of lead stars, "In Your Brilliant Season" raises anticipation among viewers, especially with the amazing tandem between Seo In Guk and Lee Sung Kyung.
Fans are also looking forward to their on-screen chemistry and can't wait to see the duo in one drama.
Seo In Guk Stars in Back-to-Back K-dramas
While viewers patiently wait for the announcement of whether Lee Sung Kyung will reprise her role in "Dr. Romantic" season 4, her "In Your Brilliant Season" co-star Seo In Guk will be headlining multiple K-dramas in the coming year.
After his K-drama comeback for "Café Minamdang," the South Korean hearthrob will return in the upcoming series "Death's Game."
The webtoon-based series, which is set to be released in December 2023, stars Park So Dam as his female co-star.
Adding to the list of cast are Go Yoon Jung and Kim Ji Hoon of "Money Geist: Korea."
Apart from this, Seo In Guk will also headline the action thriller drama "Smoking Gun" and the novel-based series "Handwritten."
