Go Yoon Jung Reveals Audition Process, Most Memorable Part in ‘Moving’
Go Yoon Jung spills details regarding her audition and talks about her most memorable scene in the hit K-drama "Moving."
The up-and-coming star once again showed viewers her flexibility as an actress, from taking on supporting roles to her first lead role in "Sweet Home," followed by a breakthrough performance in "Alchemy of Souls."
Now, the 27-year-old beauty is stealing the hearts of fans with her character, Jang Hee Soo, in the most talked-about K-drama of the year, "Moving."
Here's How Go Yoon Jung Aced the Audition for Jang Hee Soo in 'Moving'
In an interview obtained by a local news outlet, Go Yoon Jung recalled the audition process she had for the series.
According to the actress, she went to the screening without any knowledge about the original webtoon.
After passing the audition, she received a gift from writer and webtoon creator Kang Full. It was a copy of a webtoon signed by the writer.

As mentioned by the actress, Kang Full said that she reminds him of the character Jang Hee Soo, especially her voice.
On the other hand, upon reading the script, Go Yoon Jung said that she immediately fell in love with the character.
"When I read the original work, it was more fun to follow, she added, noting that she tried to understand and analyze what kind of person Jang Hee Soo is.
In the 20-episode K-drama, Go Yoon Jung's character harbors the same superpower as her father, Jang Joo Won, played by Ryu Seung Ryong. Both of them have regenerative healing powers, making it difficult for them to get hurt.
Interestingly, the most memorable scene for Go Yoon Jung was the fight scene where Jang Hee Soo was against 17 students.
She was able to survive without a scratch and was called a "monster" by her classmates, resulting in her getting kicked off campus.
"It was a satisfying and proud moment," the actress said.
Go Yoon Jung Receives a Special Gift From Ryu Seung Ryong
The actress shared a sweet moment between her and senior actor Ryu Seung Ryong during the script reading of the series "Moving."
According to Go Yoon Jung, the award-winning star arrived at the table read with two bouquets, one for her and one for Kwak Sun Young, who played Jang Joo Won's wife, Hwang Ji Hee.
As mentioned by the actress, it was Ryu Seung Ryong who personally selected the flowers for his two female co-stars.
On the other hand, "Moving" episodes 14 and 15 are scheduled to be released on September 6. Viewers will get to see two new episodes via Disney+ and Hulu.
Interestingly, the last three episodes of "Moving" is slated to air on Septemver 20.
