South Korea has a slew of notable actors, among which are Son Seok Koo and Park Hae Soo. 

Known for their amazing filmography, fans noticed that the duo had something in common.

Besides being among the versatile K-drama actors, aciong K-dramas and movies, whether rom-com, melodrama, thriller, or action, fans saw their uncanny resemblance. 

Park Hae Soo and Son Seok Koo's Uncanny Resemblance Noticed by Fans 

In a report cited by a media outlet, Park Hae Soo and Son Seok Koo left viewers confused, noting how the two great actors looked alike. 

Interestingly, they have similar facial features, and at the same time, their physiques are almost identical.

Due to this, netizens said that they "always get confused" between Son Seok Koo and Park Hae Soo "especially in photos."

Others even thought that the "Squid Game" star was also the same person who played Mr. Gu in "My Liberation Notes."

What Movies, K-dramas Did Park Hae Soo Play in?

The 41-year-old actor made his debut in 2012 after joining as one of the supporting actors in the K-drama "God of War," headlined by Kim Joo Hyuk and Kim Gyu Ri. 

After 5 years since his first K-drama appearance, he landed his first ever small-screen lead role through "Prison Playboook."

Taking on the role of baseball superstar Kim Je Hyuk, the sports theme K-drama is his big break as an actor. 

It was then followed by a series of cameos and supporting roles. However, in 2021, the Netflix series "Squid Game" took the world by storm, where Park Hae Soo played the villain Cho Sang Woo, or player No. 218.

Due to his amazing performance, he landed a nomination at the Primetime Emmy Awards for Best Supporting Actor. 

Interestingly, he earned the moniker "son of Netflix" after playing the main character on "Money Heist: Korea."

Park Hae Soo played the Korean version of Berlin and went to reprise the character in part 2. 

As for movies, he joined as Hwang Joong Geun in the blockbuster film "The Pirates," as well as "Yaksha: Ruthless Operations," Phantom," and more. 

Son Seok Koo Returns to K-drama With Back-to-Back Project

After reprising his role in "D.P." season 2, Son Seok Koo will be headlining a new K-drama.

Taking on the role of mysterious character Jang Nan Gam, he'll be portraying one of the main characters in Murder DIEary" with Choi Woo Shik.

Slated to release on Netflix, viewers will get to see their team up in 2024 alongside Lee He Joon.

Adding to the list of Son Seok Koo's new dramas is the thriller mystery K-drama "Nine Puzzle." He will be working alongside Kim Da Mi, and it will be directed by Yoon Jong Bin of "Narco-Saints."
