Han So Hee is postponing her current and upcoming activities after testing positive for COVID-19.

According to news outlets, the actress' agency, 9ato Entertainment, confirmed the news and shared that she is "currently self-isolating and resting at home."

Han So Hee Halts Filming of 'Gyeongseong Creature' Season 2

Following the news regarding Han So Hee's COVID-19 diagnosis, the 28-year-old star reportedly felt unwell while shooting the Netflix series "Gyeongseong Creature" season 2.

Han So Hee then underwent a series of COVID-19 tests and tested positive. As mentioned by her agency, she is currently focusing on her recovery at home.

Prior to this, the South Korean star was booked and busy with back-to-back projects, including K-dramas, endorsement deals, fashion events, and more.

As for her upcoming K-drama, Han So Hee is set to star in the highly anticipated thriller drama "Gyeongseong Creature."

'Gyeongseong Creature' Cast, Release Date

In January 2022, it was confirmed that Han So Hee will be teaming up with Park Seo Joon in the upcoming K-drama "Gyeongseong Creature."

Set in the spring of 1945, the thriller series depicts the story of two individuals who encounter a mysterious creature and fight for their survival.

Directed by Jung Dong Yoon of "Stove League" along with Kang Eun Kyung of the "Dr. Romantic" series, the first season is slated to premiere in the second half of 2023 and will be available exclusively on Netflix.

Han So hee takes on the role of Yoon Chae Ok, a skilled fighter who searches for missing people, including her mother. She is knowledgeable about working with knives, machinery, and guns.

As for the South Korean heathrob, Park Seo Joon plays one of the wealthiest men in Bukchon, named Jang Tae Sang.

Joining Han So Hee and Park Seo Joon as the "Gyeongseong Creature" cast are Suhyun, Kim Hae Sook, Jo Han Chul, and Wi Ha Joon.

On the other hand, the second season, which they are currently filming, is expected to premiere sometime in 2024.

Han So Hee Injured While Filming 'Gyeongseong Creature

In August 2022, Sports Chosun reported that the actress had a facial injury while filming "Gyeongseong Creature" and was rushed to the emergency room.

At the time, Han So Hee is said to be filming a high-level action scene, which resulted in her acquiring injuries near her eyes.

The news was confirmed by her agency, which stated that the actress had a minor injury and, thankfully, no surgery was required.

Fortunately, after weeks of rest, the actress fully recovered and resumed filming the series.
