Shin Hye Sun & Lee Jun Young’s ‘Brave Citizen’ Finally Hits Cinemas This Fall

Shin Hye Sun and Lee Jun Young are coming back to the big screens this 2023 with their first ever action film in a while called "Brave Citizen."

Since the announcement of its production, fans couldn't hide their excitement for the work. Ahead of its premiere, "Brave Citizen" hyped up the fans with its new set of teasers.

Shin Hye Sun & Lee Jun Young's 'Brave Citizen' Announces Premiere

On September 14, the action film "Brave Citizen" starring Shin Hye Sun and Lee Jun Young dropped a new set of teasers as it announced its release.

"Brave Citizen" depicts the life of a former boxing athlete who now works as a teacher after giving up on her previous career. However, she gets stuck in a sticky situation when she becomes the target of her evil student.

Shin Hye Sun plays So Si Min, an intelligent and trustworthy teacher who has a newly found passion for teaching while Lee Jun Young transforms into Han Soo Kang, an aloof and mysterious student.

A set of character posters was released as it confirmed the film's theatrical release on October 25. In one image, So Si Min attracts attention with her lovely smile while holding a book.

The text that says, "It's the easiest thing in the world to endure" marks her suffering in confidence, raising curiosity about what goes down in her personal life.

Meanwhile, the other character poster gives off an eerie aura due to its darker color. Han Soo Kang sports an arrogant expression as the text says, "I'm the law here."

The poster exudes Han Soo Kang's evil energy, which raises the tension and conflicts between him and other citizens.

Shin Hye Sun and Lee Jun Young recently captivated the viewers with their recent dramas "See You In My 19th Life" and "Mask Girl," respectively.

With their first meeting ever, fans' expectations for the two top-notch actors are through the roof.

'Brave Citizen' Doubles Tension With First-Ever Film Trailer

Besides the new character posters, "Brave Citizen" also dropped its first-ever trailer that captures the intense action of the two characters.

The teaser begins with So Si Min glaring at a man who bumps her shoulders and physically assaults her, not knowing that she can fend for herself.

As a former boxing athlete, she then defends herself. At work, she becomes a bright and gentle teacher, surprising the viewers with her unexpected charms.

Meanwhile, Han Soo Kang keeps the tension in the air as he bullies his schoolmates. To keep the injustices away, So Si Min wears a mask as she pledges to stop violence in her school.
