IU Corrects Park Seo Joon After Sending Her Food Truck: ‘It’s Ae Soon, not Soon Ae’

IU showed some love to her "Dream" co-star Park Seo Joon after receiving a heartfelt gift from the actor.

The singer-actress is currently filming her K-drama comeback, "Have You Done Well," where she stars alongside Park Bo Gum.

As she thanked Park Seo Joon for his lovely present, IU poked fun at her former co-star for mispelling her name.

IU Receives Food Truck From Park Seo Joon

In one of IU's Instagram stories, the "Hotel del Luna" updated her 31.2 million followers on her recentactivities,s including receiving food trucks from Park Seo Joon.

"Hong Dae, oppa, why are you so generous?" she wrote, referring to the actor's character in "Dream."

The second post featured another message for the actor, in which IU corrected Park Seo Joon for incorrectly spelling her name.

"Thank you, I ate well. But Hong Dae oppa, it's Ae Soon, not Soon Ae," she added, in reference to her character in her new K-drama, "Have You Done Well."

IU and Park Seo Joon headlined the sports theme film directed by Lee Byung Hun of "Be Melodramatic," "Extreme Job," and "Alice, the Final Weapon."

The movie depicts the story of once-famous soccer player Yoon Hong Dae, who went on hiatus due to disciplinary probation. Because of this, he was offered to play the coach for the team joining an annual international soccer event known as the Homeless World Cup.

Meanwhile, PD Lee Soo Min was inspired by the group's story and wanted to make a documentary featuring Hong Dae's team.

Apart from the duo, "Dream" also includes "Money Heist: Korea" star Lee Hyun Woo, Park Hyung Soo, Jung Seung Kil, and more.

IU New Drama: 'Have You Done Well' Boasts a Star-Studded Cast

After 5 years, IU will be returning to the small screen with an interesting K-drama. 

As mentioned, she will be teaming up with Park Bo Gum as they play Ae Soon and Gwan Shik in "Have You Done Well."

In the upcoming series, the duo was born and raised on Jeju Island, and they have been friends since they were young. However, as they get older, Gwan Shik develops feelings for Ae Soon but hesitates to confess them.

Unfortunately, as they got older, one of them had to leave town for work. Years later, they found themselves reunited in the same neighborhood.

Besides IU and Park Bo Gum, the cast of "Have You Done Well" also includes Moon So Ri and Park Hae Joon, who will play the older versions of Ae Soon and Gwan Shik. 

As for the release date, it will premiere sometime in 2025 on Netflix.
