Choi Hyun Wook Under Fire For Public Smoking

On October 5, "Twinkling Watermelon" star Choi Hyun Wook received massive hits and criticisms after he was caught smoking in a public area.

In a video that circulated in various online communities, the actor was caught on camera smoking and tossing cigarette butts in a non-smoking area while hanging around mysterious women.

Netizens can't hide their disappointment with the actor, especially after seeing him holding one of the women's hands while casually throwing cigarette butts onto the sidewalk.

After the video gained traction, many fans and critics weighed in. One fan said, "Rumor has it he visits hunting pubs and he's also close with the CEO who helped Yoo Ah In's friend escape from drug charges."

However, there's no evidence for the netizen's statement. Another spectator came into Choi Hyun Wook's defense, saying that it's not a crime to visit clubs and have one-night stands.

Sadly, smoking in public places while also littering is considered a misdemeanor crime in South Korea, which is the main concern of the actor's fans and viewers.
