On October 19, a set of photos of "Twinkling Watermelon" stars Ryeoun and Choi Hyun Wook was released by Elle Korea.

The two young stars graced the cover of the editorial magazine with their boyhood charms and freshness.

In the exclusive pictorial, Ryeoun and Choi Hyun Wook looked dapper as they wore matching bold-colored suit jackets, giving off a mature vibe.

It was balanced with their cider-like charisma as they rocked button down shirts with eccentric prints, totally showcasing their three-dimensional characters.

After the photoshoot, Ryeoun and Choi Hyun Wook sat down with Elle Korea for a brief interview.

The two got candid about their honest feelings for "Twinkling Watermelon," which tells romantic stories about youth, friendship, dreams and more.

Ryeoun confessed that while filming the drama was fun, he still felt immense pressure in fulfilling the lead role. He shared that he shed tears after every scene.

Meanwhile, Choi Hyun Wook shared that despite being in a lot of dramas, he remained humble to perfect his role and acting scenes with his co-stars.

"We really loved working on set," the two actors shared, giving spotlight to their bromance and chemistry. "Despite the pressure, seeing [each other] made filming very much enjoyable."

Ryeoun & Choi Hyun Wook On Preparing For Acting Roles

Since Ryeoun plays a CODA (child of deaf adult), he learned the basic sign languages before filming.

He visited houses of deaf people to familiarize himself with their daily lives, and even grew closer to them. Ryeoun said, "I learned a new way of communicating with my heart."

As for Choi Hyun Wook, learning sign language moved him, showing his immersion in the work. He said, "It tells stories and expresses emotions without words."

When asked about what to expect from the show, Ryeoun and Choi Hyun Wook introduced the points to watch, saying that viewers must anticipate their characters' development arcs.
