The Worst of Evil Episode 10

A familiar face has returned in "The Worst of Evil," episode 10. With only two episodes left, Ji Chang Wook is on the edge to keep his mission running without being exposed by people around him.

Directed by Park Geun Beom of "Girl on the Edge" and Han Dong Wook of "Man in Love," the 12-episode Disney+ series depicts the story of a detective who was given a challenging task.

Detective Park Joon is given a new identity to infiltrate one of the biggest drug syndicates in the area, run by Jung Ki Chul (Wi Ha Joon).

In return for a successful mission, Park Joon Mo will move two positions up in their department.

Other than Ji Chang Wook and Wi Ha Joon, "The Worst of Evil" includes Im Se Mi as Park Joon Mo's wife and Jung Ki Chul's first love, Yoo Eui Jung.

Working as an elite police officer, he got involved with Joon Mo's undercover case in order to protect their mission and not raise suspicions over her husband's true identity.

'The Worst of Evil' Episode 10 Recap

The 10th episode began with Jung Ki Chul planning to leave the group to live a normal life.

He wanted to be the right person for Yoo Eui Jung, and to be that one, he had to give up being a gang boss.

At this point, he gets honest with Kwon Seung Ho, whose real idea is Park Joon Mo, saying that the person who is fit to be his successor is not other than him.

He selected him because he thinks that Cheif Seo is too short-tempered to be the head, while Hong Hee Sung is focused on his family and cannot take over Gangnam Union's boss.

In the next scene, Joon Mo meets Eui Jung and Ki Chul at a conference but is surprised that officer Hwang Min Goo is also there, threatening Ki Chul about the drug trade.

Joon Mo is worried that Hwang Min Goo will blow up the cover if he continues to investigate Gangnam Union's involvement with drugs.

To prevent this, he asked his superior, Seok Do Hyung, and the prosecutor to get Min Goo on lease. As for Jung Ki Chul, he asked Chief Seo to finish the police officer.

On the other hand, Hwang Min Goo is eager to track the mastermind behind the drug trade.

He gathered the former junkies whom they arrested and forced them to spill information that they knew.

Dodger mentioned a man named Meth Park who knew the ins and outs of the drug trade.

While Min Goo gets hold of him for investigation, Seok Do Hyung tells the presecutor that it was Park Joon Mo's father and advises him to keep it from him until the mission is done.

One of the highlights in "The Worst of Evil," episode 10, is the arrest of Chief Seo.

While Min Goo couldn't find anything to put Jung Ki Chul behind bars, he trusted the men whom he arrested. With this, Jung Ki Chul thinks it was Choi Jung Bae behind this.

With one of their long-time group members arrested, Ki Chul and Joon Mo need to make their deal with the Chinese and Lee Hae Ryon a success.

As the duo got on with their drug trade, a visitor returned to their head office.

Choi Jung Bae unlocks Jung Ki Chul's room and mentions how the cop, referring to Eui Jung, will ruin him. That is because the code that he used was her birthday.

In the last scene, Jung Bae sits in Ki Chul's chair as if he were the union boss.

At this point, it hints that Jung Bae might probably know Joon Mo's real identity.
