‘Castaway Diva’ Episode 1: Park Eun Bin Successfully Escapes Hell

Seo Mok Ha Fails To Sing
"Castaway Diva" episode 1 begins with Seo Mok Ha (Lee Re) searching for a phone with the same model as hers after it ran out of power.
Thankfully, Jung Ki Ho (Moon Woo Jin) lends his phone, allowing the former to sing along with her idol Yoon Ran Joo (Kim Hyo Jin) at a popular radio show.
However, her classmate disconnects the call before she could even sing. As her anger amplifies, she devises a plan to meet her idol; she plans to go to Seoul.
Unbeknownst to everyone, music is Seo Mok Ha's escape from all the parental abuse she suffers from at home.
Seo Mok Ha Finds Comfort
What Seo Mok Ha doesn't know is that Jung Ki Ho also suffers from abuse from his father Jung Bong Wan (Lee Seung Joon) who is a police officer.
After this incident, Jung Ki Ho submits Seo Mok Ha's self-recorded video of her singing to Yoon Ran Joo's agency, hoping for the latter to achieve her dreams.

Elsewhere, Yoon Ran Joo is amazed by Seo Mok Ha's singing ability, keeping her awake all night long due to the great impression that the young singer left.
Yoon Ran Joo plans to sign a contract with another agency. She also plans to sign Seo Mok Ha as a rookie singer.
However, she doesn't pick up the phone when she calls. At school, Seo Mok Ha cries her heart out, revealing that her father has harmed her again.
Jung Ki Ho Plans To Run Away With Seo Mok Ha
Jung Ki Ho assures Seo Mok Ha that the two of them will run away to a safe place, and finally meet her idol Yoon Ran Joo. When her father tries to hit her again, she quickly runs away.
Sadly, Jung Ki Ho couldn't make it as only one boat was set to leave at the time. He then rushes to her, convincing her to make the journey alone.
He tells Seo Mok Ha to go to Seoul and forget about everything on the island, including him. Jung Ki Ho also wishes for her to achieve her dreams so no one can ever harm her again.
Before she could even escape, she sees her father right outside, pushing her to jump off the ferry to escape. The following day, she wakes up on an uninhabited island where she survives.
Seo Mok Ha Gets Cast Away
Years later, Jung Ki Ho, who doesn't know about Seo Mok Ha's castaway journey, lands in Seoul and searches for her. However, she doesn't show up.
Seo Mok Ha (Park Eun Bin) is then all grown up on the deserted island, and has adapted to the environment for 15 years. The drama ends when Seo Mok Ha sees a drone flying around the island.
