Uhm Jung Hwa Announces Details of Her First Ever Solo Concert in 20 Years

Uhm Jung Hwa is savoring her second heyday as the singer-actress announces her first solo concert in 20 years.

Dubbed as Invitation 2023, the 54-year-old beauty will surely end the year with an amazing performance, singing her famous tracks and delivering a show-stopping concert.

Uhm Jung Hwa Solo Concert Details

According to a report, Uhm Jung Hwa's solo concert is scheduled for December 9 and 10 at the Jamsil Student Gymnasium in Seoul, followed by another concert at the EXCO in Daegu on the 23rd.

She is ending her concert series with a performance at BEXCO in Busan on the 31st.

Uhm Jung Hwa will surely captivate the hearts of the older generation as well as the younger MZ generation as she performs with a spectacular guest lineup as her way to treat her fans to an amazing show.

Interestingly, tickets are open exclusively at Melon Ticket starting November 1.

Ahead of her much-awaited solo concert, Uhm Jung Hwa's Instagram shares teasers, giving fans a glimpse of what to expect in the upcoming show.

Inviting all her fans, the singer-actress shared a teaser for Invitation 2023 along with a special message.

"It's a solo concert. I'm brave enough to come out with you after 20 years! The bucket list will be revealed gradually. But I believe it will be the performance you've been waiting for. Be patient with me, folks! ," the caption reads.

In the comment section, fans and fellow celebrities are thrilled to witness Uhm Jung Hwa set the stage on fire with a show-stopping performance.

2NE1's Dara showed the actress some love and promised that she'd be watching her solo concert.

The same goes for fellow singer Lee Sora, who seemed thrilled for Invitation 2023.

On the other hand, netizens on Twitter were confident that Uhm Jung Hwa's first solo concert would be a night to remember.

Interestingly, prior to her solo concert, Uhm Jung Hwa dropped her first solo music in three years in December 2020, with a full-length album titled "The Cloud Dream of the Nine."

On top of her music career, she is also thriving with back-to-back hit K-dramas.

What's Next for Uhm Jung Hwa?

Besides her flourishing music career, Uhm Jung Hwa stars in an upcoming thriller drama.

After the success of her comeback series "Our Blues" in 2022, followed by the hit K-drama "Doctor Cha" in 2023, the top star will land another main role in KBS2's "The Wife."

Uhm Jung Hwa will transform into a woman living a fake life by using another woman's identity as she hides her secret.

"The Wife" is scheduled to join a slew of dramas airing in 2024.
