'A Good Day to Be a Dog' Sees Dip in Viewership Rating

On November 1, "A Good Day to Be a Dog" finally returned to the small screen following one week of hiatus. However, despite the break, the drama failed to achieve a high rating. 

Cha Eun Woo and Park Gyu Young's drama foretells the story of a woman who is cursed to transform into a dog when she kisses someone and a man who is the only key to breaking the curse but is afraid of dogs due to his childhood trauma. 

With its latest episode 4, Nielsen Korea released the data showing the drama's newest rating record. Based on the source, "A Good Day to Be a Dog" recorded an average rating of 1.7 percent nationwide, which was lower than the previous episode's rating of 1.9 percent. 

Cha Eun Woo's K-Drama Receives Massive Support Outside South Korea

Previously, K-Netizens expressed their disappointments to the declining viewership ratings of the webtoon-based K-Drama. With the first four episodes released, MBC's series has floundered in its pilot episodes and has yet to pass a 3 percent viewership rating.

Meanwhile, despite its low ratings in Korea, Cha Eun Woo and Park Gyu Young's drama is receiving immense popularity abroad. Many are watching it through the online streaming platform VIU and Netflix. 

Kim Young Dae & Pyo Ye Jin 'Moon in the Day' Debuts With Promising Rating

Another K-drama made its debut on Wednesday primetime. It was none other than ENA Channel's "Moon in the Day."

According to the data, the newest time-travel series garnered 1.6 percent viewership rating on its pilot episode. 

The drama released new episodes every Wednesday and Thursday. 

"Moon in the Day" follows a heartbreaking romance story that spans 1,500 years. Moving back and forth between the past and present, the series depicts the journey of a man whose time has stopped after being killed by his partner and a woman who has lost her memories of the past and continues to go with the flow in life.
