Lee Joon Hyuk's Romantic Era Begins in 'Acquaintances' With Han Ji Min
The romantic combination that viewers have been waiting for is about to make its debut soon. Based on a news cited by a media outlet on November 17, Lee Joon Hyuk and Han Ji Min confirmed their appearances in the upcoming drama "Acquaintances."
The romance-healing series "Acquaintances" is about Ji Yoon, a CEO who is great at her job but inept at everything else, and Eun Ho, her very competitive secretary who is fantastic at not only his job but also at housework and taking care of kids.
After meeting the viewers with his villain roles, Lee Joon Hyuk will have a major transformation and return to melodrama this time.
The veteran actor is expected to star as Eun Ho, a caring single father who seems to be good at everything. With his impeccable manners and warm personality, he is the kind of man anyone would want to rely on, and due to his job, he winds up taking care of his clumsy boss.
Han Ji Min, on the other hand, is Ji Yoon, a feisty and aloof CEO of a big headhunting company. Even though she is confident and highly capable when it comes to her work, she doesn't know how to do anything else.

As a glimpse of what to look forward to in the new on-screen tandem, the producers of the drama remarked:
"With the confirmation of Lee Joon Hyuk and Han Ji Min's casting, we have achieved a perfect romantic pairing, and we couldn't ask for more."
They added that even the production team is excited and eagerly anticipating seeing what kind of chemistry that the two actors will create through "Acquaintances."
The production team is expected to begin filming in earnest with the aim of releasing the drama some time in 2024.

Meanwhile, Lee Joon Hyuk is currently appearing in Disney Plus' newly released crime-thriller series "Vigilante," alongside Nam Joo Hyuk. He is also confirmed to make a special appearance in the star-studded Netflix drama "Mercy For None."
