Song Ji Hyo To Receive Over $750,000 From Former Agency After Winning the Lawsuit

Song Ji Hyo Wins Lawsuit Against Uzurocks + Agency to Pay Actress Over 750,000 USD
As cited by a news outlet on November 22, Song Ji Hyo won the lawsuit against her former agency, Uzurocks Entertainment. The Seoul Central District Court's Civil Agreement Division 45 confirmed the status by announcing it to the press.
In addition, the court ruled that Uzurocks should pay Song Ji Hyo a total of 984 million krw (757,380 USD) in unpaid settlements and delayed interests. The agency must also bear the lawsuit cost.
According to the source, Uzurocks did not respond during the hiring, so the court concluded the lawsuit without any arguments. By the Civil Procedure Act, the judgment will be issued if responses are not submitted within 30 days.

Song Ji Hyo signed with Uzurocks in October 2022. However, the company did not pay her and the other employees.
In April 2023, the celebrity decided to terminate her contract. The following month, she officially filed a lawsuit against the agency to claim the unpaid settlements.

Song Ji Hyo parted ways with Uzurocks and signed with her new agency, NEXUS E&M in October. The actress' new company warmly welcomed her and assured fans that they will start a good partnership with the star and will support her solo activities.
As of this writing, the actress has no confirmed acting projects yet, but is busy working on various solo endorsements.
