Kim Hye Soo took to social media as she shared a touching gift she received from Han Ji Min right before the 2023 Blue Dragon Film Awards started.

In her Instagram story, the award-winning actress showcased her unique friendship with a celebrity friend, none other than the "Our Blues" star.

Ahead of the 2023 Blue Dragon Film Awards, the "Under the Queen's Umbrella" star received a touching letter and a beautiful bouquet from fellow celebrity Han Ji Min.

In Kim Hye Soo's Instagram post, the letter includes heartwarming words from the actress expressing how she respects her senior.

"I express my respect and gratitude to you for being in the same place for a long time, for 30 years."

Moreover, Han Ji Min also showed her support for Kim Hye Soo, who had previously announced that the 2023 Blue Dragon Film Awards would be her last hosting stint for the ceremony.

The actress then concluded her letter by calling herself "a big fan" of Kim Hye Soo.

"Thank you for your hard work. Also, congratulations. I love you," she added.

As mentioned, Kim Hye Soo will be hosting her last Blue Dragon Film Awards and will no longer appear as the MC after this year's ceremony.

Following her 30 years as one of the annual ceremony's longtime running hosts, she stepped down from hosting the prestigious ceremony.

After confirming the actress' departure, fellow stars expressed their sadness but at the same time showed their huge respect and support for Kim Hye Soo's decision.

Ryu Seung Ryong from "Moving" shared a screenshot of a news article on his Instagram story, along with a touching message for the actress, and described the actress as "the history of the Blue Dragon Film Awards."

The same goes for Lee Mi Do, who wrote, "Reading this piece, I felt sad that we had to let her go and gained a new level of respect for her 30 years as the host of the ceremony that I didn't know before. I truly respect you."

As mentioned, Kim Hye Soo first hosted the Blue Dragon Film Awards way back in 1993.

Other than being the host, she also garnered the crowd's attention with her amazing red carpet look and was hailed as "The Goddess of Blue Dragon."

In addition, the 53-year-old top star bagged the most Best Actress awards in the Blue Dragon Film Awards history. This includes the 14th, 16th, and 27th ceremonies.

What's Next for Kim Hye Soo?

After "Under the Queen's Umbrella," Kim Hye Soo is in talks to return to the small screen with a new K-drama.

The award-winning start is offered to headline the upcoming office comedy series "Trigger," helmed by Yoo Seon Dong of "Bad and Crazy" and "The Uncanny Counter" season 2.

In the upcoming drama, she will team up with "The Glory" star Jung Sung Il.
