'Vigilante' Episode 8: Did Nam Joo Hyuk End His Journey As Anti-Hero?

In "Vigilante" Episode 8, things had been clear for Kim Ji Yong, Choi Mi Ryeon, and more.

Beginning with Mi Ryeon being held captive by Mr. Bang, this was to provoke the vigilante, but Kim Ji Yong had other plans.

Although he had the mission to save Mi Ryeon, Kim Ji Yong targetted Kim San Doo's office. In exchange for his crypto wallet, he wanted the Sewool chairman to bring Choi Mi Ryeo to the World Cup stadium concert hall.

As for the chairman, he wanted to seek the help of Mr. Bang after finding out that Mi Ryeo was with him in exchange for money. In addition, Kim San Doo promised to let the vicious hitman kill the vigilante after his transaction.

On the day of their scheduled plan, the chairman looked for more people, along with Mr. Bang and his assistant, for the final match.

Instead, Kim Sam Doo and his men witnessed a group of vigilante-looking civilians entering the stadium, which meant that he wanted to trick the chairman by making it difficult to identify who was the real vigilante.

As the final battle began, Choi Mi Ryeo escaped Mr. Bang and escaped with Kim Ji Yong. She also took the opportunity to expose the incident by broadcasting the fight between Kim Ji Yong and Cha Kang Ok versus Mr. Bang.

Meanwhile, after successfully recovering from a coma, Cho Heon arrived at the scene and instructed everyone to drop their weapons.

On the other hand, as the chairman attempted to kill Kim Ji Yong, his friend and classmate, Seon Wook, arrived to save him by being stabbed by Kim Sam Doo, which ignited Kim Ji Yong's anger.

After the intense match with Kim Sam Doong, Kim Ji Yong wanted Uhm Jae Hyeob to come clean.

However, things didn't go as planned, as Mr. Bang attacked Ji Yong but ended up being shot

The story wrapped up with Mi Ryong revealing that Seon Wook was the vigilante to keep Kim Ji Yong's identity hidden.

In the end, she revealed why she wanted to meet the vigilante and glorified his activities. That was because his father, a civil servant, died after being framed for the things he didn't do, which led him to kill himself.
