Disney+ officially dropped the webtoon-based K-drama "Vigilante," starring Nam Joo Hyuk, Yoo Ji Tae, and more.

The long wait is over for fans as viewers witness the transformation of the South Korean heartthrob as he takes on the challenging role of Kim Ji Yong, a.k.a. the vigilante.

The K-drama follows the story of a model police student, Kim Ji Yong, who is a student by day but becomes a vigilante at night. His mission is to take down criminals who managed to get away with the law.

Before living his double life, Kim Ji Yong witnessed a traumatic incident after a man murdered his mother right in front of his eyes.

The heartbreaking incident triggered him to become a vigilante and seek revenge for those innocent people who were victimized by criminals.

The show aired its first two episodes, giving viewers a background on Kim Ji Yong. But before you watch the drama's third episode, get to know more about the "Vigilante" cast!

Nam Joo Hyuk as Kim Ji Yong

The 29-year-old actor stars in the action crime series "Vigilante," taking on the titular role. The Disney+ series is his last project before entering the military.

Starting his career as a model, Nam Joo Hyuk made his acting debut in 2014, playing a bit of a role in "Surplus Princess."

However, he gained huge attention after headlining the series "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" with Lee Sung Kyung.

Did you know that the rom-com K-drama was their second project together? Both Lee Sung Kyung and Nam Joo Hyuk appeared in the series "Cheese in the Trap," alongside Kim Go Eun.

Once again, Nam Joo Hyuk hit a blockbuster series when he teamed up with Bae Suzy for the K-drama "Start-Up." Viewers were drawn to the love triangle story with Kim Seon Ho, who played as Han Ji Pyeong, one of Sandbox's judges.

Before "Vigilante," viewers saw a different side of Nam Joo Hyuk as he worked alongside Kim Tae Ri in another hit K-drama, "Twenty-Five Twenty-One."

Yoo Ji Tae as Detective Cho Heon

Viewers might recognize Yoo Ji Tae for his role in "Money Heist: Korea," portraying the role of "The Professor."

In "Vigilante," he showcased his versatility as he played detective Cho Heon, who is going after the vigilante. He is the chief investigator assigned to the case of the mysterious person who kills and punishes criminals.

In the field, he is dubbed the "monster" by his colleague due to his strength and physique.

Will he be able to catch the vigilante red-handed?

Kim So Jin as Choi Mi Ryeo

Best known for her award-winning performance in the crime drama "The King," Kim So Jin plays REPO 25h chief reporter Cho Mi Ryeo. She is the one who exposed vigilantes to the public and labeled him as a dark hero.

Cho Mi Ryeo is also the one who exposed the details of the criminals in hopes of earning the attention of the vigilante.

Lee Joon Hyuk as Cho Kang Ok

Lastly, joining the main characters is Lee Joon Hyuk, who takes on the role of second-generation Chaebol Cho Kang Ok.

Unlike detective Cho Heon, Kang Ok fully supports the vigilante. This stems from his fascination with the dark hero who sees the flaw in the system and corrects it on their own.

According to the actor, he accepted the role because of the unique characteristics of Cho Kang Ok.
