Jo Yong Pil & Jo Sam Dal's Awkward Reunion

Jo Yong Pil (Ji Chang Wook) dives into the water to save Jo Sam Dal (Shin Hye Sun) despite not knowing how to swim.

Luckily, the latter is able to manage and saves him in return. This awkward and hilarious encounter reminds them of the mortifying past between them.

To avoid conflicts, he drops her off in her house. On their way home, Jo Sam Dal makes it clear that she's going back to Seoul once she finally fixes things.

However, she avoids Jo Yong Pil's questions and goes inside, and ends up thinking about the past with Jo Yong Pil who has always been there for her.

Jo Sam Dal Feels Small

Jo Yong Pil learns about what happened to the other. When he calls out for the community dog named Sam Dal, she runs to Jo Yong Pil to remind him about her secret.

This leads to her secret vacation becoming public news, surprising everyone in Jeju Island. Meanwhile, Jo Sam Dal's mother is still affected by her daughter's downfall.

Jo Sam Dal reminds her mother not to read hate articles about her. Her mother also refuses to talk to her. Later at night, Jo Sam Dal goes out for a walk, only to end up learning about how the entire island talks about her failure.

Jo Sam Dal Breaks Down

Jo Yong Pil finds her and invites her for a drink. However, Wang Kyung Tae (Lee Jae Won) shares that he is happy that she returned even if it meant she failed in the city.

Because of this, Jo Sam Dal runs away. Everyone chases her to make sure that she's okay, sending her into a spiral. She then breaks down after she reunites with her group.

She is reminded of the past where all of them, except Jo Yong Pil and Wang Kyung Tae, decided to make their dreams come to life by going to the big city of Seoul.
