'Death's Game' Earns Praises From Avid Viewers

After dominating the end of 2023, "Death's Game" Part 2 continues to create a massive buzz in the big year of 2024.

The drama cements its place at the top as one of the most buzzworthy works in Hallyu today, following the release of its remaining episodes.

Seo In Guk and Park So Dam's show consistently rakes high praises and great feedback from viewers and critics alike, earning titles like "Best 2024 K-drama" and "Perfect Feast."

"Death's Game" follows a man's quest of experiencing life and death a dozen times after being punished by Death itself.

Throughout eight episodes, Seo In Guk's Choi Lee Jae lived unique stories and personalities at Park So Dam's Death's command.

What's interesting about the work is its seamless transition between genres from action, thriller, suspense to horror, and even comical and romance. With this, viewers dubbed the work as a "perfectly balanced feast."

In addition to that, the show boasts an impressive cast lineup. Aside from the duo, the ensemble consists of Lee Do Hyun, Kim Ji Hoon, Choi Siwon, Oh Jung Se, Jang Seung Jo and more big names in the Hallyu scene.

Seo In Guk Expresses Gratitude To 'Death's Game' Viewers

Through "Death's Game," Hallyu superstar Seo In Guk transformed into a jaded man who was subjected to an incredible punishment of life and death.

The actor gave an excellent performance as Choi Lee Jae who was reincarnated in 12 bodies in order to escape the burning pits of hell.

According to Seo In Guk, "Death's Game" is a work of fate. Apart from being a fan of the original work, he also found resonance and comfort from his own character.

"I failed a lot of auditions before my debut just like Choi Lee Jae," Seo In Guk shared. "There were also times when my heart was filled with jealousy and envy. Thankfully, I found my peace."

Seo In Guk's only wish for his character is to find his own peace and overcome his own demons by facing Park So Dam's Death.

On the other hand, Seo In Guk thanked the viewers for their undying support, which he described as a "driving force" for him to keep going.
