Helmed by Kim Jae Hong of "Through the Darkness" and "Revenant," the weekend K-drama is based on the story of the 2015 Russian series "Silver Spoon," which depicts the journey of a third-generation chaebol who becomes part of the police force.

With his unexpected change of career, the chaebol's son, Jin Yii Soo (Ahn Bo Hyun), not only proves to himself what he is capable of but also tells a painful story about his past.

With only a few episodes until the grand finale, "Flex X Cop" Episode 14 showed another impressive move with a high viewership rating.

Joining the rating race, Nielsen Korea recorded an average nationwide rating of 9.8 percent.

'Flex X Cop' Episode 14: Jin Yi Soo Torn Between His Family & Career

The previous episode left viewers with a surprising twist regarding Jin Yi Soo's brother, Jin Seung Joo (Kwak Si Yang).

As the team went on with the mysterious murder case at the Hansu Group chairman's residence, police were looking into the members of the family, their staff, and more.

In one scene, Yi Soo was stunned to see his brother get caught during the entrapment operation.

During the interrogation, Seung Joo confessed that he had already met the deceased Dae Hoon at the party.

At the time, he and Dae Hoon had a riff after he witnessed him assaulting his mother.

After some digging, he found out that his biological father was Dae Hoon, and he was not the son of the Hansu Chairman.

Because of this bombshell news, Dae Hoon used it to blackmail Seung Joo's mother, Hee Ja, and if she failed to comply, he would expose the truth about her son.

As a result, Hee Ja had to pay the price for Dae Hoon's death. In addition to this, Jin Yi Soo also knew about it. The truth devastated him since he and Seung Joo were close.

In the latter part of the episode, Jin Yi Soo went to his father, who asked him the truth about his mother's death.

Yi Soo pointed out that his mother didn't die of suicide, claiming that there was a foul play behind it.

As soon as he left the chairman's estate, "Flex X Cop" hinted at the chairman's death.

This raised the question of whether Jin Yi Soo was involved in this and who would be the next chairman of the Hansu Group.
