Kim Tae Heon Saves Seo Jung Won
In episode 8, Cha Geum Sae (Go Geon Han) is more than convinced that Seo Jung Won (Kim Ha Neul) is the one who murdered his sister and Jin Myung Sook (Lee Young Sook).

Blinded by rage, he kidnaps her without thinking much. Cha Geum Sae brings Seo Jung Won to the office where Cha Eun Sae's (Han Ji Eun) dead body was found.
When he's about to stab her with a jackknife, Kim Tae Heon (Yeon Woo Jin) arrives to save Seo Jung Won. Sadly, he is left wounded after engaging in a physical fight with the other.

Thankfully, Cha Geum Sae is arrested for kidnapping Seo Jung Won and injuring Kim Tae Heon. The detective takes advantage of this to interrogate him due to sate his suspicions.
Seol Woo Jae Discovers A Secret
It turns out that Cha Geum Sae is a mole of assemblyman Mo Gyung Taek (Yoon Je Moon). In addition, Cha Eun Sae was sponsored by the politician, and was regarded as his "daughter."

Seo Jung Won becomes anxious when the alibis of the suspects are confirmed. Kim Tae Heon comes to the broadcasting station, much to her surprise.

Elsewhere, Seol Woo Jae (Jang Seung Jo) finds a photo of Seo Jung Won's necklace in a USB drive that Yoo Yoon Yeong (Han Chae Ah) had hidden while she was drunk and asleep.
Is Seo Jung Won the Culprit?
Despite being angry for tapping Seo Jung Won, Yeon Woo Jin's curiosity takes over his body. He sees a photo of his wife in the file, visiting the scene of Cha Eun Sae's murder.

Unbeknownst to him, Yoo Yoon Young planted the picture in the USB drive to get back at Seo Jung Won. Meanwhile, Seol Woo Jae is convinced that his wife is Cha Eun Sae's murderer.
