It was an outstanding year for actress Lee Bo Young. And, considering her latest casting choice, next year looks good too.

This year she portrayed the flawed public defense attorney Jang Hye Sung in the drama "I Hear Your Voice" with co-stars Lee Jong Suk and Yoon Sang Hyun. She also played Lee Seo Young, the main character in the highest rated weekend drama "My Daughter Seo Young."

Her work in those dramas makes it more than likely that she will win the 2013 SBS Awards Grand Prize for "I Hear Your Voice."  She already took home top honors at the Korea Drama Awards, for both dramas and picked up the best couple award with her "I Hear Your Voice" co-star Lee Jong Suk. At the 2013 APAN Star Awards, she won awards for Best Leading Actress and Best Couple for "I Hear Your Voice." She's nominated for a Baeksang award for Best TV Actress for "My Daughter Seo Young" and an Mnet award for best Female Drama Star for both dramas.

Drama triumphs were not her only achievement this year as she also married longtime boyfriend actor Ji Sung in September.

Because Ji Sung began filming his successful melodrama "Secrets" shortly after their wedding, the couple did not leave for their honeymoon in Thailand until late November and returned in December. Only a few weeks have passed and Lee Bo Young has already signed on to a new drama.

That drama is called "God's Gift - 14 Days." It's about a mother who loses her child. She gets the chance to travel back in time to change the course of events that results in her child's death. The drama was previously titled "Two Weeks," but Lee Jun Ki's recent drama, titled Two Weeks," prompted a name change. It was also temporarily called "Mother." Traveling back in time has not worked out too well in 2013 dramas, creating all sorts of problems for Lee Jin Wook in "Nine" and confusing all the characters in "Future's Choice," but hopefully it will be less complicated and more successful in the plot of  "God's Gift - 14 Days."

Although it seems like a sudden decision, Lee Bo Young thought carefully about the drama before agreeing to take the role.

Choi Ran, who wrote the drama "Iljimae," has written the screenplay.

Lee Dong Hoon, who directed "Dummy Mom," will direct "God's Gift - 14 Days."

Lee Bo Young's new drama is set to air in February, replacing "One Warm Word."
