BLACKPINK member Jisoo has been getting attention from netizens and fans of the K-pop industry due to an apparent significant drop in her followers on Instagram.

The singer and actress, who currently has just over 79.6 million followers, has lost approximately 162,500 followers over the past 30 days, according to data from SocialBlade, as reported by Koreaboo.

The total loss since her peak in February 2025 is estimated at nearly 200,000 followers.

While Jisoo remains one of the most-followed K-pop idols on the platform, the decline has not gone unnoticed.

Fans have taken to social media to voice their frustration and disappointment, largely blaming inactivity on her account and an overemphasis on sponsored content.

"I was often thinking about the fact that she rarely posts anything, and if she does, it is almost always advertising. It's very boring sadly," one user, @russia_mia, wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Others echoed similar sentiments, calling on Jisoo's label, BLISSOO, to increase her online presence.

"Blissoo move please 🙏🏻," @typablink103 posted.

"This is ridiculous. I need her PR team to work!!!" wrote @briepinksbluu.

Some fans think that she may be having issues with accounts like shadowbanning since she is promoting a lot, and hence, nobody can see or like her posts.

Jisoo has remained popular as a BLACKPINK member of one of the most successful K-pop groups of all time.

However, its other three members, including Lisa (who has the highest number of followers at the moment, with 106 million), are still holding steady or expanding their internet presence.

Neither Jisoo nor BLISSOO has publicly responded to the concerns at the time of publication.

Even with the slump, Jisoo's popularity has remained solid enough that fans are demanding that she provide a more personal account, with closeness and intimacy.
