As per AllKpop, Show Play Entertainment, which is producing both shows, released an official statement on June 5 announcing the cast changes.

"Actor Park Jun Hwi, who played the role of Peter, and actress Woo Jin Young, who played the role of Tanya, have decided to leave the productions due to personal circumstances," the company said.

The statement continued, "We sincerely apologize to all the audience members for the inconvenience caused by the cast changes. Those wishing to cancel or receive refunds due to these changes may do so without any cancellation fees."

Park will be replaced by actor Kang Byun Hoon, and Park Do Yeon will take over the role previously played by Woo.

The controversy began early June 5 after a photo circulated online showing Park and Woo together in their underwear, heads bowed.

The image, which many believe was initially posted and then deleted from an acquaintance's Instagram story, quickly went viral and sparked backlash on social media.

Adding to the speculation, screenshots of a wedding invitation and private messages allegedly exchanged between the two also appeared online.

Park is reportedly engaged, leading to public speculation about a possible extramarital affair.

Many online commenters suspect the leaks may have originated from Park's fiancée, though this remains unconfirmed.

Following the incident, Park's Instagram account was deactivated.

Park made his musical debut in 2016 with Secretly, Greatly and has since performed in productions such as The Goddess and Fire Sonata.
