Marriage speculations have been circulating between actors Kim Ji-seok and Lee Joo-myung following a recent sighting of the duo in Hawaii, over a year into their celebrity relationship.

Rumors of dating between Kim, who was born in 1981, and Lee, who was born in 1993, began circulating last August.

Then, both agencies quickly confirmed the romance, and Lee subsequently moved to Kim's agency, Alien Company, indicating a deepened connection.

On August 23, a citizen netizen posted a picture online purporting to have caught the couple overseas.

The picture depicted Kim Ji-seok in a sleeveless t-shirt and black cap strolling with Lee Joo-myung, who was dressed in a short-sleeved blouse and pink cap.

When questioned regarding the photograph, a spokesperson for Alien Company refused to comment further.

"We ask for your understanding as it is difficult to discuss the details as they are personal matters," the representative replied.

The romance has also been the topic of conversation among Kim's family members. During the month of June, his father was featured on MBN's talk show Dongchimi and publicly mentioned the romance.

"I heard that he got a girlfriend last year. I was expecting him to bring her and introduced him to her," Kim's father explained.

"The day we met, I gave him a personality test and acted as his relationship coach. It turned out that we were the same age, 12 years older than him."

He continued to say he had hopes of getting married but recognized the obstacles. "Because of the generation gap, our goals are different, so we don't talk much.

I want him to get married soon now that I have a girlfriend, but he (Kim Ji-seok) said that his girlfriend is just starting out as an actress, and if I get married, I'll be the one blocking her future, so I have to endure it"

Kim's father added, "I'm relieved that he has a girlfriend, but I'm worried about when I'll be able to have grandchildren."

Meanwhile, online reactions to the Hawaii sighting were filled with excitement. Netizens commented, "They look so good together," "They look happy," and "Are they going to get married soon?"

The couple has yet to address the marriage speculation directly, but public curiosity continues to grow.
