On Sept. 6, Park Eun-bin hosted the "Park Eun-bin Official Fan Club Bingo Third Fan Party – Eunbin Note: Hyper Day" at Yonsei University's Grand Auditorium.

Kicking off the event, Park Eun-bin performed a live version of Golden, wowing audiences with high notes and steady vocals.

Her styling, from bold makeup that looked like that of the main character in the drama, completed the performance.

Online communities quickly picked up the performance, where many praised her versatility.

One fan commented, "Eunbin unnie properly closed the door to marriage." Another wrote, "She's not even a singer, but she's keeping the door to marriage."

Others added, "This is the best 'Golden' cover I've ever heard" and "What can't this unnie do?"

But not all the reactions were positive. Some users were not comfortable with her heavy makeup. A netizen said, "That's Woo Young-woo."

Another one said, "Did her makeup technique change?" while one commented, "I think she'd be prettier without makeup."

Park Eun-bin, who began her acting career as a child actor, has been acclaimed for years for her versatility.

She won praise for playing the character of Seo Mok-ha, a budding singer, in the tvN drama 'Diva of the Deserted Island'. Her singing talent, which was comparable to that of experienced performers, made her well-known as a singer as well as an actress.

Continuing on the music path, Park Eun-bin has continuously released music, like her digital single Piece by Piece, which she composed.

During her fan meeting, she sang the song, exemplifying how much she has grown as a singer and an actress.

The polarized reaction to her Golden cover is symptomatic of the double nature of fan culture with respect to high-profile actors in Korea, where both talent and looks are criticized.
