The installment combined suspense, social commentary, and star performances, leaving fans eager for more.

The episode revolved around Yoon Yi-rang (Park Min-young), James (Park Hee-soon), and Myung Gu-ho (Joo Jong-hyuk) and how they carried out a gutsy plan to con Jeon Tae-soo (Jung Woong-in).

They managed to steal 50 billion won (approximately $36.6 million USD) in slush funds, donate it anonymously, and have Jeon Tae-soo arrested.

In one dramatic scene, Yoon Yi-rang was in danger of losing her life. When the porter threatened to cut off Myung Gu-ho's finger, Park Min-young's character responded brazenly.

"Don't stop, use your ring finger, please," she replied, receiving accolades for her fearless tone.

Later, Jeon Tae-soo forced the team to send money to Manila. Park Min-young's character again showed intelligence by detecting a security loophole.

"A special device had been installed to block X-ray penetration," she explained, bringing a believable plot for evading airport officials.

The climax consisted of the characters making Jeon Tae-soo flee by sabotaging it. When the plane was shaking, Yoon Yi-rang yelled, "For a safe landing, we will implement weight reduction measures!" before throwing the stolen cash overboard. Jeon Tae-soo bailed out, only to find the bags were full of white paper.

The finale surprised viewers by showing Yoon Yi-rang confronting his traumatic past. The show ended with the ominous line, 'Checkmate,' hinting at more sinister things to be revealed in the future.

Social media audience reactions complimented the cast. One of them commented, "Park Min-young, natural charm and charisma! Totally versatile!"

Another one chimed in, "I cheered for the strongest teamwork, then I was curious about the ending, then it was a gripping drama!!"

'Confidence Queen' is also produced by TME Group, and directed by Nam Ki-hoon. It is broadcast on TV CHOSUN and Coupang Play, and distributed globally across 240 countries and regions through Amazon Prime Video, not including Korea.
