As reported by KBZOOM, Ahn debuted on CBS News 24/7 on Sept. 26 in its peak-hour Friday time slot.

Although he was initially invited to visit the New York studio, his schedule of shooting a drama kept him from appearing in person.

To make it work, CBS set up a relatively uncommon cross-continent live broadcast, highlighting his global popularity.

Ahn has been at the forefront of worldwide buzz following Netflix and Sony Pictures Animation's collaborative venture KPop Demon Hunters, which has just exceeded 325.1 million views, a record for Netflix.

He is the voice behind the character Jinu, whose journey has captured hearts around the globe. Many of his voice-acting scenes have gone viral and enhanced his image beyond mainstream acting.

In his CBS interview, Ahn described the message of the film. He stated, "It's a story about accepting who you are," going on to say, "Sometimes our biggest obstacle isn't the world, it's ourselves. Jinu and Rumi face that, and instead of running, they grow. And I feel like that's something a lot of people can relate to."

He also spoke about how far Korean culture has evolved in the world. Ahn stated, "Honestly, it's very surreal, and it's really amazing. When I was younger, I never imagined Korean culture to be embraced on such a global scale.

To see people around the world singing words in Korean, learning the language, or being inspired by our films and dramas, it makes me really proud. But more than that, it shows how stories and music can cross borders and connect us in ways that are really powerful."

According to MK.CO.KR, Ahn teased fans about what could come next for his character. When asked about the possibility of a sequel, he said, "I don't have too much information. What excites me is that all these characters are just beginning their journey.

They've faced challenges, but there's still a lot of room for them to grow. I'd love to see how their bond deepens and how their music continues to be a weapon of 'hope'. And personally, I just wish to see Jinu again. Please give him his soul back."

Industry insiders and fans regard Ahn's CBS sighting not just as a publicity stunt but as evidence of his increasing reputation as a cultural ambassador.

Balancing production assignments with global appeal, he is now viewed as among the brightest Korean talents that are redefining the world's entertainment platform.
