As per Koreaboo, news emerged on October 15 that Lisa will be featuring in Netflix's new action movie "Extraction: Tygo", along with seasoned Korean actor Ma Dong Seok. The film is reportedly a spin-off of the Extraction series, and would be Lisa's second acting job after her highly anticipated Hollywood debut in HBO's "The White Lotus" Season 3.

A source close to the entertainment industry has reportedly informed IZE that, "Lisa, a member of BLACKPINK, will appear in the Netflix new action blockbuster movie Extraction: Tygo." The declaration heightened fan anticipation to see her grow her acting career.

However, Koreaboo added that the hype immediately ran cold once news broke that actor Lee Jin Wook was also going to be included in the movie. The actor had earlier been accused of sexual assault, and although this was dropped, it left a permanent stain on his reputation.

Social media was in shock following the news, with people not being comfortable with the reported casting. On X (formerly Twitter), one of the fans stated, "Putting them in the same action movie is crazy." Another user posted, "An interesting tandem, Lisa and Ma Dong Seok. On the other side, let's ignore the other one tho."

Others were more direct in their responses. A post stated, "Not fawkass Lee Jin Wook," while another user chimed in, "That problematic guyyy dawggg." Another user said, "Lee Jin Wook is so ugly like why is he there bro."

In spite of the viral debate, Netflix has since confirmed that "Extraction: Tygo" has not been officially verified. The platform issued a short statement, stating that information about the cast and production is still unverified.

Lisa is still generating buzz around the world with her music and acting career and hasn't released any comments about the circulating rumors. Fans are hopeful that if the project pushes through, it will allow her to exhibit her talent aside from K-pop.

As conversations continue to be held online, many netizens are calling for more clarification from Netflix to reduce confusion about whether there is a casting for the film and when pilot production for the film will take place.
