Lee Sang Soon hosted "A Perfect Day with Lee Sang Soon" on MBC FM4U on April 8, and IU was a guest. The appearance quickly got people's attention because it was a public event with Lee Hyori, which brought back memories of the trio's relationship. As AllKpop reported, the broadcast was an important moment in clearing up long-standing rumors.

The host started the show by talking about their relationship. He said, "It's been a really long time since we last met. We've talked on the phone occasionally and even worked together, but we've both been busy. We've both been in Seoul for quite a while, but still couldn't find the time. I'm glad we finally get to meet again like this."

IU was happy to get the invitation. She said, "When I heard I could see you here today, I decided to appear without even a second of hesitation," referencing their past connection from "Hyori's Homestay."

IU also used the broadcast to promote her upcoming MBC drama "Perfect Crown." This showed how friendly and professional the reunion was.

The host remembered watching IU's work with his wife and then the conversation turned to Lee Hyori. He said, "Last time, I watched When Life Gives You Tangerines with my wife, and we cried so much. We even talked about it again while crying. It was incredibly enjoyable, so I'm really looking forward to your new project too."

IU then asked him if he was going to watch her new show. He said, "Of course."

IU then jokingly reminded him of when the show would air. "It airs at 9 PM on April 10 and 11. Just this week, it will air at 9:40 PM. You promised you'd watch, right? I know you go to bed early."

The host made a joke about his daily life. He said, "We usually go to sleep around 9:20 PM, but we'll make an exception on the weekend. We'll be sure to watch."

Since they worked together on "Hyori's Homestay," there have been rumors that IU and Lee Hyori had a falling out, especially after it was reported that they stopped following each other on social media. People started to wonder more when they seemed to miss each other's big projects and public events.

According to MK, Lee Hyori previously discussed the issue in a different appearance. "There aren't many people who consistently care for us as a couple. Still, there are people who do—Hong Hyun Hee, Jay Ssun, Yoo Jae Suk, and IU."

Most people who reacted online after IU's radio show were happy. People on the internet showed their support for the apparent reconciliation. They said things like, "It's nice to see such a long-standing connection," "The feud rumors were just gossip," and "Now I'm curious if they'll really watch the drama live."
