South Korean actress Jeon Jong Seo has been confirmed once more to make her mark in Hollywood by joining the cast of the highly anticipated remake of "Highlander," a fantasy blockbuster reportedly worth a production budget of 100 billion KRW, approximately $70 million.

Through AllKpop, it was announced that Jeon's agency, ANDMARQ, confirmed on November 6 that the actress will be part of the film by director Chad Stahelski, best known for his work on the 'John Wick' franchise. The remake will be made under the United Labels of Amazon MGM Studios.

It will boast a powerhouse ensemble headlined by Henry Cavill of Superman fame; Mark Ruffalo, otherwise known as the Hulk in Marvel movies; Russell Crowe from Gladiator; Dave Bautista and Karen Gillan from Guardians of the Galaxy; and Jeremy Irons from House of Gucci.

According to the Maeil Business Newspaper, Jeon will be playing the role of a member of "The Watchers," a secret organization that watches over immortals who wander the Earth. Filming starts early in 2026, and many are eagerly waiting to see how Stahelski will retell the legendary saga with his signature action-filled touch.

The "Highlander" film series, first released in 1986, has maintained a supportive, loyal fandom of individuals who have enjoyed the movie and live on, captivated by the mythical storytelling and epic sword fighting.
