The upcoming fan meeting of actor Lee Jong Suk in Manila has been suddenly cancelled, according to an announcement by his agency.

On November 17 KST, A-Man Project, an agency under Ace Factory, announced the cancelation via their official channels.
The agency said, "The 2025 Lee Jong Suk Asia Fanmeeting Tour [With: Just Like This] in Manila, scheduled to take place on November 30, 2025 at the Araneta Coliseum, has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances."

According to allkpop, the agency explained, "After careful consideration, we decided to prioritize the safety of fans, the artist, and all staff members, as a large demonstration is scheduled to take place on the same day. We ask for your understanding regarding this decision."
They added in the notice, "We sincerely apologize to all the fans who were looking forward to this fan meeting and ask for your understanding for any inconvenience caused by this cancellation. We truly hope that Lee Jong Suk will be able to meet his Filipino fans again in the near future." The agency also revealed that refund details will be announced via the local promoter.
Manila is presently gripped by widespread unrest linked to corruption claims involving a government-initiated flood-control project. The announcement placed the expected number of participants at approximately 650,000 demonstrators, adding to safety concerns that prompted the cancellation of the event.
After the announcement, fans from Manila and social media expressed mixed emotions. Positive remarks from fans are introduced by a neutral sentence: "Thank you for putting the safety of fans and the actor first," "Safety comes first," and "What matters is that Lee Jong Suk is safe."
Other fans shared their disappointment about such a sudden change through Reddit. Some said, "I already booked my flight to Manila and prepared fan support gifts—canceling without postponing is hard to accept," and "Why not reschedule for next year instead of canceling?"
The cancellation marks a rare disruption in the actor's tour of fan meetings in Asia, but his agency expressed hopes of reconnecting with Filipino fans when circumstances allow.
