According to a scene unveiled by iMBC, the outlet said Lee Gyeong-do blocked Seo Ji-woo's departure, not letting her go, as the emotional thread between them continued.

A month after Seo Ji-woo's divorce was revealed, Lee Gyeong-do found himself embroiled in an unexpected scandal. Another outlet reported a conversation between the two at a café, digging up scrutiny of the past and current situation of both.

While Dongwoon Ilbo's newsroom was in a state of internal conflict, Lee Gyeong-do sought ways to regain equilibrium. He relied on his connections from the college drama club named Jiri Myeolryeol, as iMBC reported that he and his senior Jin Han-kyung initiated efforts to take a group photo to commemorate their long-standing friendships.

It was hard to involve Seo Ji-woo. The moment he met Lee Gyeong-do, who was wearing an old couples' shirt from 18 years ago, Seo Ji-woo said, "I've been wearing it until it stretches because it reminds me of you," adding emotional depth to their reunion.

After the photoshoot, Seo Ji-woo apologised in a low-toned voice for having crossed paths with him again. To this, Lee Gyeong-do replied, "I've never been involved, I've never been entangled," reassuring her as reported by iMBC.

But the most unexpected moment arrived when Seo Ji-woo's older sister, Seo Ji-yeon, played by Lee El, met Lee Gyeong-do. The quoted revelation by iMBC, in which she confessed, "Please hold our Ji-woo," after revealing her Alzheimer's diagnosis.
