After posting a picture of herself at a movie theater, actress Lee Young-eun got a lot of hate online and later took it down.

Lee posted a picture on her social media account on March 3 with the caption "Before the movie started. I didn't know I'd end up crying. I'm suffering from 'The Man Who Lives with the King.'" The picture showed the actress having a drink with a friend before the historical movie started.
But Isplus said that there was a lot of drama when Lee was seen sitting on a shared sofa with her feet up and shoes on, which is not how theater etiquette says you should act.
People on social media reacted quickly. "It's not considerate to put your shoes on the public seating." Another said, "Even celebrities should follow basic rules in public spaces." A third post read, "This is why public figures must be careful with what they share online."
Lee finally took down the post when the backlash got worse. A source told Naver, "She recognized the public reaction and decided to remove the post to prevent further controversy."
Lee Young-eun started modeling in 1998 and later became known for her roles in dramas like "War of Money" and "While You Were Sleeping." She married a regular person in 2014 and had a daughter in 2015.
"The Man Who Lives with the King," which came out on February 4, is about Eom Heung-do (played by Yoo Hae-jin), a village chief who offers to go into exile to bring Cheongnyeongpo back to life, and the young king Lee Hong-wi (played by Park Ji-hoon), who has been dethroned.
The Korean Film Council's integrated movie ticket network says that as of March 4, the movie had a total of 9,407,833 viewers, with 194,493 people watching it the day before. Industry experts say that the movie will have more than 10 million viewers by the end of this week.
The event has led to a lot of talk in South Korea about how public figures should act on social media, with many stressing the importance of manners and respect in public places.
