Lady' PD 'Two Women's Conflict" Different than "All About Eve"
Producer Han Chul Soo of "Lady" spoke about the difference with "Everything about Eve", his last piece.
At the production presentation of the new JTBC daily drama "Lady" (script Ho Young Ok, director Han Chul Soo) held on January 7th at Seoul Joong Goo Sunhwadong Hoam Art Hall, producer Han Chul Soo said, "Lady" and "Everything about Eve" may look similar but it's different."
In 2000, the MBC drama "Everything About Eve" had a rival structure between Chae Rim and Kim So Yeon showing good and evil and was extremely popular.
"Lady" is about the friendship and love of two women who have the common element that they are high school classmates but are living different lives and personalities as one is a housekeeper's daughter and another is an heiress.
At this, the reporters asked whether "Lady" will follow in a similar plot and producer Han said, "The former piece showed two friends in an extreme situation of good and evil. However, 'Lady' plays importance on the conflict but shows the friendship and hurt and healing of two over a man, showing humanity," he emphasized.
It will be aired at 8:15PM on January 13th for the first time.
