With the ratings climbing higher for "You Who Came From The Stars," it seems likely that the final episodes could reach an impressive 30 percent.

Wednesday's episode reached 24.6 percent of the viewers while the next day's episode was up to 26.4 percent.

That's a 1.8 percent increase, while the competition's ratings fell slightly. "Inspiring Generation," which began on Wednesday with 9.6 percent fell to 7.9 percent. "Miss Korea" fell from 6.7 percent to 6.3 percent.

Developments in the plot of "You Who Came From The Stars" may have sparked a heightened interest. If you haven't watched this week's episodes, there are spoilers ahead.

Both Chun Song Yi, played by Jun Ji Hyun and Do Min Joon, played by Kim Soo Hyun have finally owned up to the feelings they have for each other.

In a hilarious flashback scene, Chun Song Yi remembers how she coped with Do Min Joon's initial rejection of her affections. First she drunkenly sang Baek Ji Young's song "Like a Bullet."

Baek Ji Young thought the actress was so funny that she posted a few words about it on her SNS account the next day.

"I laughed and cried watching Jun Ji Hyun sing 'Like Being Shot by a Bullet' on 'You Who Came From The Stars.' She was so emotional," wrote Baek Ji Young. "That's how you're supposed to sing."

After singing that song very loudly, Chun Song Yi she drunk dialed and texted Do Min Joon, and showed up at his door. She managed to do everything that Lee Whi Kyung warned her a rejected person should never do. But then in a tearful admission Do Min Joon decided that despite the dangers involved in loving a human, even if it kills him, he wants to spend his remaining time on earth with her.

They had a frozen-in-time kiss. He dreamt of living a human life with her.

But first he has to tell her who he really is. He has to be honest with the woman he loves and he has to know if she loves the real him, an at least 400-year-old alien.

Chun Song Yi has changed a lot since the show began. She is starting to consider others. But will she be able to cope with the idea that Do Min Joon is not human and that she will lose him in a matter or months? Viewers will have to tune in to find out. And as a result, the ratings may yet hit 30 percent.
