First Teaser For “Mimi” Released, Viewers Look Forward To Female Lead

TVXQ's Changmin makes a small screen comeback in Mnet's new mystery-romance drama "Mimi".

The singer takes on a challenging role of portraying his character's teenage and adult self. At 28 years old, Min Woo is a web toon artist who feels agonized that he could not forget about his first love, while his 18 year old self is a student who is experiencing love for the first time.

The teaser opens with a girl asking Min Woo to remove all memories of her, showing the bittersweet premise of the story. Throughout the video, as several mysterious scenes unfold, a soulful musical ballad reminiscent of a heart breaking first love can be heard.

Despite the promotions for the drama, Changmin's female lead is yet to be revealed, making fans wonder who his counterpart will be.  In the short teaser, Changmin is seen kissing a girl, but no name has been mentioned. According to Mnet, they plan on releasing teasers and promotional materials over time until the premiere.

"Mimi" is a four part short story which will air on February 21. Meanwhile, watch the first teaser in the video below.
