Five Fun Facts About Kim Hee Sun

Kim Hee Sun plays Cha Hae Won in the new weekend drama "Wonderful Days" with Lee Seo Jin and Ok Taecyeon. Lee Seo Jin plays Kim Hee Sun's first love.  Taecyeon and Kim Hee Sun work together and argue a lot. There's even a scene in which they physically fight.

These actors will not be the first attractive stars Kim Hee Sun has worked with. She last appeared in "Faith: The Great Doctor" with Lee Min Ho playing her love interest.

Here are a few facts you may not know about this beautiful actress.

1. When she filmed "Faith: The Great Doctor," she was full of praise for her co-star Lee Min Ho and how kind he was to her on set. The two stars had a lot of fun together. She often teased him for sleeping so much and called him a baby. However, she also confessed that her husband was jealous of her kissing scenes with Lee Min Ho and she had to say she disliked kissing him. On an episode of "Healing Camp," he confessed that he was having fun watching the drama but had to stop after watching one of those scenes.

2. She's married to a non-celebrity, businessman Park Joo Young, and they have a daughter. She left the entertainment world after her marriage in 2007 but came back to make "Faith: The Great Doctor."

3. It was watching dramas on TV that inspired her to make a comeback.

"I found that I had more time to watch TV dramas by myself, after my husband went to work and my daughter went to kindergarten," she told the Chosun Ilbo. "And I suddenly got this feeling that I could succeed in those kinds of roles. Then I received a phone call from several agencies asking me if I wanted to appear in a drama, so the timing was perfect."

4. She's a fan of 2NE1's CL. In an interview with Cosmopolitan Korea, she noted the singer's unconventional beauty and also praised her savvy.

"She has charisma," said Kim Hee Sun. "Thinking of her as someone who's really cool came naturally for me."

She's also a fan of 2PM's Nickhun.

5. When asked by the magazine what she might do differently if she had a chance to live through her 20s again, the actress said that her priorities might differ.

"I was too busy with my work," said Kim Hee Sun. "I wish I had known how to take breaks and spent more time with people whom I love. If I could go back in that time, I would also travel around the world."  

She has also said that before she was wrapped up in the glamour of being a celebrity but now she wants to focus on becoming a more skilled actress.
