After news surfaced about his split from wife Paula Patton, Robin Thicke took to his website this Wednesday to break his silence.
The "Blurred Lines" singer managed to express his gratitude toward his fans for supporting him during such a tough time in his personal life.
"I want to thank everyone for the well wishes these last few days. My fans mean everything to me," the 36-year-old Canadian wrote.
Since the couple's "mutual" separation, Thicke has cancelled three shows on his tour.
On his website the singer insisted that he is eager to kick the tour off again.
“I'm looking forward to getting back on out on the road and performing in Washington, D.C. this Thursday, and the rest of the tour," he said. "Looking forward to seeing everyone out there."
Before reports spread that the duo were planning to end their eight year marriage, Thicke blamed the show cancellations on voice trouble, according to the NY Daily News .
"I never want to let down my fans but I have unfortunately lost my voice and cannot perform tomorrow night," he said last Thursday to USA Today.
Supposedly, Thicke missed his show last Friday to jet to Vancouver in an attempt to salvage his relationship with Patton.
