Two Stars From "You Who Came From The Stars" To Film A Love Story

Two stars that impressed audiences in "You Who Came From The Stars" are considering making a film together in China.

Yoo In Na, who played Jun Ji Hyun's frenemy and acting rival, may team up with actor-model Ahn Jae Hyun, who played Jun Ji Hyun's kid brother. Together they may work on a Chinese film titled "Wedding Bible."

According to Yoo In Na's agency, YG Entertainment, she is positively reviewing the casting offer but negotiations are still underway so it's too early to confirm anything.

If she does take the part it will be her debut role in China.

Meanwhile Ahn Jae Hyun's agency says that he has already signed on for the role.

"It has recently been decided that Ahn Jae Hyun will star in 'Wedding Bible,' but we have not yet been able to confirm the film synopsis and character details yet," said a representative from his agency, HB Entertainment. "He is set to begin filming in July."

The romantic comedy will be filmed in China. It's a story about four people looking for love.

Yoo In Na will play a woman who returns to Shanghai from England and becomes a college professor. She's beautiful and smart but doesn't have many friends. Godfrey Gao, the Chinese actor last seen in the Hollywood film "The Mortal Instrument: City of Bones," will be the male lead. Chinese actress JiaJia Deng will also appear in the film.

Huh in Moo, who directed Yoo In Na in the film "Little Black Dress," will direct this film.

"You Who Came From The Stars" is very popular in China. According to a Washington Post article, the drama has so far been viewed 2.5 billion times there. The stars have become sought after celebrities and singer Lyn was invited to perform the soundtrack song "My Destiny" at China's QQ Music awards after the song hit number one on the Hong Kong and Taiwanese iTunes charts. The drama even inspired a craze for fried chicken and beer, a meal Jun Ji Hyun's character liked to eat in the show.

So it's no surprise that any of the stars of the show have been invited to act in a Chinese film.

Yoo In Na has several films and dramas to her credit, playing the actress who played Queen Inhyun in "Queen Inhyun's Man." Playing Jun Ji Hyun's younger brother was Ahn Jae Hyun's first role. He will soon also be seen in the drama "You're Surrounded."
