Girls' Generation Members Battle For Your Attention In Mr. Mr. MV

After 14 months of being inactive, Girls' Generation is back with their fourth extended play entitled "Mr. Mr." It's amazing how SM Entertainment was able to produce a rocking music video in spite of the loss of data that happened, prompting the idol group to delay their comeback and reshoot some scenes.

In a span of 4 minutes and 4 seconds, the music video takes us on a visual treat of all the 9 girls, but which member stood out the most?

The First and Last

Taeyeon gets the first impression since she got to sing the first few lines of the song. Fortunately for her, she was also the last one singing at the end of the music video as the camera zooms out for a complete group shot. She can be very thankful now because she also got to be highlighted a couple of times during the middle of the song.

The Center Spot

It's always strategic to be in the middle of the camera, especially for a big group like Girls' Generation. One point each for Yoona, Yuri, Sunny, Hyoyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun during the dance sequences shown in the music video. Rotating the girls for the center slot has always been practiced even in the past Girls' Generation videos.

The Vocal Power

Both Jessica and Tiffany had long singing shots than the other girls, even belting towards the latter part of the song. The gradual progression of their voices is impressive.

The What-Could-Have-Been-Improved

While Sooyoung is the tallest member of the group, she didn't get to have a relatively long solo singing shot (she was shown singing though in 2 medium group shots and also momentarily after the dance break). Nevertheless, her other non-singing solo shots in the music video are dazzling as always.

Yoona is also a crowd favorite and has previously enjoyed great exposure of her eye candy close-ups.  However, we see more of a high ponytailed Yoona like this...

...than this head-turning split-second appearance with her hair layered.

As of this article's writing, Mr. Mr. has garnered 15.5 million Youtube views and its dance practice video already exceeded 1 million Youtube views in just a day, proving the girls' charm is here to stay. So which Girls' Generation member captured your heart the most?
